BRENDAN R. O'BRIEN, ESQ - Special Assignments Counsel

A 1991 graduate of Tulane Law School, Mr. O'Brien's studies focused on business law and oil and gas law. Mr. O'Brien is an experienced trial attorney who has managed every aspect of both civil and criminal trials. He has taken hundreds of cases to verdict and has thousands of hours of courtroom time. Mr. O'Brien has highly developed trial skills, from fact finding, witness preparation, research, drafting and litigation strategy.

Mr. O’Brien was an integral member of the litigation team that litigated In Re Katrina Canal Breaches against The United States Army Corps of Engineers in New Orleans for damages sustained in the area east of the Industrial Canal during hurricane Katrina.

Mr. O'Brien’s experience is varied and extends to litigating contested probate matters as well as, negotiating and drafting contracts for various artists and producers with major international record labels; negotiating options for movie rights for independent film production companies and drafting licensing agreements for artists and fashion designers. As a sophisticated negotiator he brings broad knowledge of the subtleties inherent in complex business agreements to his entertainment and other creative business contracts.
