VIVIENNE GILBERT
Mrs. Gilbert is a graduate of New York University and New York Law School and has practiced in the Trusts, Tax and Estate Planning area since 1977. Her specialties lie in designing complex revocable and irrevocable Trusts to maximize tax and business advantages. Mrs. Gilbert provides educational training for lawyers, accountants, and financial planners in the application of Trusts utilizing Generation Skipping Transfer Taxes, Prime Welfare Benefit Trusts, Charitable Giving programs, Split-Dollar Plans and Buy-Sell Agreements.
Mrs. Gilbert's practice has included direct legal counseling and
service to the brokers and agents of financial institutions, as
well as direct counsel to the advanced market clients of Metropolitan
Life Insurance Company, Mutual of New York, Madison Professional
Planning Inc., Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company, Massachusetts
Mutual, and J.P. Morgan Chase Insurance Agency, Inc. Mrs. Gilbert
regularly writes, develops, and hosts educational tax and estate
planning productions for legal practitioners, Continuing Licensing
Education classes for Certified Public Accountants and Insurance
Professionals. Mrs. Gilbert holds the designation of a Chartered
Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)
from the American College of Insurance.
A frequent moderator for professional panels at the Association
of the Bar of the City of New York, Mrs. Gilbert has served as
Contributing Editor of The Bulletin, published by the New York
Association of Life Underwriters, is the author of the Wills chapter
for the Handbook of Estate Planning, University of Texas, Dow-Jones
Irwin, was the featured authority on Charitable Giving Plans in
Money magazine, as well as been published in the New York State
Bar Association's Elder Law Journal. Currently, she is the President
of the Professional Planners Forum Inc. An exchange forum for
tax and estate planning professionals organized in 1965 and serves
as the President and on the Board of Directors of several real
estate corporations providing tax and financial planning advice
to these corporations.
Mrs. Gilbert's department's services involve consultation and
analysis of the overall financial structure and well being of
corporate and personal holdings. The Gilbert Firm LLC will
assist you to creatively structure the format of corporate and
personal holdings to maximize assets and minimize tax liabilities.
